Blue Dragon is a Guardian Spirit in Nioh 2. Guardian Spirits can be selected on the Shrine menu and each provides a different boost to the player. Activate Yokai Shift by pressing △ + O (B + Y on Xbox/Steam controller) when the Amrita Gauge is full.

Blue Dragon Description

Worshipped since ancient times as the sacred protector of the East, the Blue Dragon symbolizes the elements of wind and lightning. Strongly associated with springtime and youth, the season of new life and energetic growth, the Blue Dragon is said to watch over ambitious youngsters. In certain regions, people also revere this divine creature as a symbol of the Japanese Emperor.

Those who are shallow or insincere should not expect the protection of the Blue Dragon. In contrast, those that have been found worthy of its powers as a Guardian Spirit are guaranteed to accomplish great deeds that will live on even after their death.

How to use Blue Dragon

• Guardian Spirit Skill is Blue Dragon following the player for six seconds. If time elapses or an enemy attacks the player or Blue Dragon, it will automatically counter attack, striking multiple times for pure lightning damage, while also staggering enemies for every hit.
• This is a largely defensive guardian spirit, reducing projectile damage taken and blocked elemental damage. It also makes electrifying enemies easier, while also giving you more melee damage, so it has a nice blend of offense and defense, in addition to a large attunement limit and useful, if unconventional Guardian Spirit skill, making it a very well rounded Guardian Spirit.
