Honda is a Clan in Nioh2. Players can pledge their allegiance to a Clan at the Hidden Teahouse to acquire passive Special Effects that affect all Characters linked to the account.

The Honda clan was the longest-serving clan to the Tokugawa and ruled over Kazusa Province (modern-day central Chiba prefecture). Their most famous leader is Honda Tadakatsu.
Tadakatsu made his debut on the battlefield as part of the Imagawa forces in the Battle of Okehazama under Tokugawa leyasu's command. He would participate in nearly all of the Tokugawa clan's battles thereafter. He was known to demonstrate great valor in battle, charging singlehandedly toward the enemy, and was so skillful he is said to have never suffered a scratch on the battlefield. His might was praised by friend and foe alike, and he came to be known as the strongest warrior in all of eastern Japan. He is considered one of the Four Heavenly Kings of the Tokugawa.
The Honda crest features hollyhock leaves, much like the Tokugawa crest. This design is said to originate from the crest of Kyoto's Kamo Shrine, where the Honda clan's ancestors once served as priests.
