Mohri is a Clan in Nioh2. Players can pledge their allegiance to a Clan at the Hidden Teahouse to acquire passive Special Effects that affect all Characters linked to the account.
The Mohri clan once ruled over the entirety of the Chugoku region. Mohri Motonari and Mohri Terumoto are two of its most prominent leaders.
Motonari was the small-time leader of Aki Province (modern-day Hiroshima prefecture), but used such cunning to expand his influence that he came to be known as the "God of Strategy": After his death, the Kikkawa and Kobayakawa clans, both of which had adopted Motonarls sons, came to serve the Mohri clan. The Mohri managed to maintain its power in this manner until Motonari's grandson, Terumoto, became clan leader.
The Mohri crest is said to represent the court rank that was attained by one of the clan's ancestors. Its three dots are meant to symbolize the stars of Orion's Belt, as Orion was believed to be a god of war.
