Takigawa is a Clan in Nioh2. Players can pledge their allegiance to a Clan at the Hidden Teahouse to acquire passive Special Effects that affect all Characters linked to the account.

The Takigawa clan mainly ruled over the northern region of Ise Province (present-day Mie prefecture). Its leader was Takigawa Kazumasu.

Not much is known about the origins of the Takigawa clan, but it is said that Kazumasu's father was originally from the city of Koka. Hearing of Kazumasuss skill with firearms, Oda Nobunaga enlisted his aid, and Kazumasu was pick to distinguish himself on the battlefield, earning himself an appointment as one of Nobunaga's senior retainers. After Nobunaga's death, Kazumasu sided with Shibata Katsuie but was defeated by Toyotomi Hideyoshi.

The Takigawa crest shares the flowering quince motif used by the Oda clan, though its flower bears one less petal than the Oda crest. It is unclear whether this was done intentionally to avoid drawing the ire of their masters.
