Grants you the Death Dancer status enhancement when you perform a melee atack if you have not taken damage for a certain amount of time. Fulfilling the effect's requirements gain increases its stack by 1 (up to a max of 9). The higher this number gets, the higher your melee attack power will be. Being hit by an enemy will cause you to lose 2 stacks, but if you block the attack the stack will only be reduced by 1. |

Death Dancer is a Special Effect in Nioh2. Death Dancer Grants a stacking melee damage multiplier when you deal damage to an enemy while you haven't taken damage. Special Effects can be acquired from Weapons, Armor, Accessories, Soul Cores and Guardian Spirits and can be either fixed or selected from a random pool.
Death Dancer Effects
- Melee attacking an enemy when you haven't taken damage for two seconds since the last stack was gained gives you a stack of Death Dancer. Each stack is a melee damage multiplier, starting at 5%, increasing by 2.5% twice, then 5% twice, then 10% twice, then 15% twice, capping at a 70% multiplier. Stacks can be refreshed even at max, but you lose 2 every time you get hit or 1 if you block. Each stack lasts for 15 seconds on their own by default.
