Damage Bonus (Damage Taken) is a Special Effect in Nioh2. Damage Bonus (Damage Taken) Increases damage in proportion to the amount of damage you receive while on a mission. This count is reset when you pray at a shrine, die, or leave the mission.. Special Effects can be acquired from Weapons, Armor, Accessories, Soul Cores and Guardian Spirits and can be either fixed or selected from a random pool.
Damage Bonus (Damage Taken) Effects
- Adds Melee Damage based on how much health damage has been dealt to the player. The letter ranking determines the scaling and the cap to how much melee damage is gained. For example, at A- scaling, this caps at 18.0% melee damage, at roughly 14000 damage taken, and at 3000 damage this bonus is ~6.0 percent, similar to a max familiarity starred Active Skill Damage effect on heavy armor.
