Fire Damage is a Special Effect in Nioh2. Fire Damage Increases damage of Fire-based attacks. Special Effects can be acquired from Weapons, Armor, Accessories, Soul Cores and Guardian Spirits and can be either fixed or selected from a random pool.

This includes fire damage (anything that shows up as a dark orange number) from Yokai Abilities, weapons that have Imbue Fire as an effect or had the Fire Talisman/ Elemental Benison used on them, skills equipped with Arcana of Fire, and fire damage done from Usable Items, Ninjutsu and Onmyo Magic attacks.

This does not affect the Damage Over Time from the Scorched status effect or Fire Damage from Guardian Spirit Skills.
