Damage Bonus (Consecutive Attack) is a Special Effect in Nioh2. Damage Bonus (Consecutive Attack) Increases damage with each consecutive successful hit. The hit count resets when the chain of attacks ends. Special Effects can be acquired from Weapons, Armor, Accessories, Soul Cores and Guardian Spirits and can be either fixed or selected from a random pool.
Damage Bonus (Consecutive Attack) Effects
- Adds melee damage depending on how many instances of melee attacks are done without Ki pulsing or letting your Ki regenerate. This Bonus Caps at 6 hits, after which you gain no more damage.
- Using a skill that activates on Ki pulse like Rising Gale will add to and maintain the stacks, but only when done as soon as possible and using Flux to gain Ki afterward will reset the stacks.
Number of Hits | Melee Damage Added
A Rank | A+ Rank (Both Gamo clan and One-Eyed Dragon's Ambition together)
1 | 0 | 0 |
2 | 1.5% | 1.6% |
3 | 3% | 3.0% |
4 | 6% | 6.0/% |
5 | 12% | 12% |
6 | 13% | 15.5% |
As you can see, stacking both of the effects together does very little, and if you use Gamo you should not use the last tier of One-Eyed Dragon's Ambition and Vice Versa.

Sounds like it would be great for Dragon Dance (Split staff skill). Might look into using this, thanks.
