      lvl 617, my own defense and dmg table, tested on skeleton warrior in dojo on his first attack of 2 hit thrust combo:
      440 = 3763
      1134 = 3718
      3620 = 3493
      5796 = 3144
      6136 = 3060
      6490 = 2951
      (numbers are a bit different coz of armor vs. Physical %reduction stat, but i recalculated and rounded them to be equal to what u see in full light armor set)
      lvling once to 618 without changing defense stat didnt change any of these numbers, but im still not sure how lvl affects damage reduction formula, it should do somehow, otherwise low-lvl armor upgrading would be pointless

      so the only facts we know are that for 618 lvl:
      1. difference between 440 and 1134 def gives 1.2% dmg reduction
      2. difference between 440 and 6490 def gives 21.6% dmg reduction

      this means that APPROXIMATE maximum damage reduction that u can get with the best armor for ur lvl is around 25%, and naked + jewellery would give u around 5%
      dont forget that full heavy armor gives u 25% more reduction on top of that, im nearly sure they dont stack additively (coz its correct for my armor), so maxed heavy armor should give a total of ~44% damage reduction (0.75*0.75) which is about 41% less dmg than naked person (0.56/0.95).

      example from what i just said:
      mob deal 4000 dmg
      naked+jewellery gets 3800
      maxed light armor gets 2760
      maxed heavy armor gets 2250

      disclaimer: only the tested numbers are undisputable truth, all following text is just my own conclusion which may or may not be correct. sets with -damage taken bonus were not used or considered in calculations, so the actual maximum damage reduction can be even higher

        I've noticed that every 100 points of defense or so is a decent level of damage reduction against to a point. Around 5%. Toughness at 100, 200, and 300 makes your block better and gives some of your animations armored frames.
