Kiryoki is an Enemy in Nioh 2. Kiryoki bears a resemblance to the Yokai Enki that attacks with a Splitstaff, Swtchglaive, and Onmyo Magic.

Enemy Description

• While Kiryoki bear a resemblance to the yokai Enki, they wield a unique weapon that is able to change its form. It is said that Kiryoki were once yokai hunters, corrupted by the darkness and transformed into their own prey. This is said to happen when one kills a yokai without the protection of a Guardian Spirit, as the corruption spawned by a slayed yokai has many fearful effects on nearby humans. Viewing this is a kind of curse, many people avoid killing yokai with their own hands. Yokai hunters typically perform a purification ceremony to protect themselves from these harmful effects, but some get carried away by their bloodlust and forget to do so, eventually losing their sanity and becoming Kiryoki.
  
• In Japanese, Kiryoki means “demon-hunting demon”, but they rarely hunt their fellow yokai, perhaps viewing them as kin despite their human origins. However, they have been known to viciously attack Shiftlings, sensing the mingling of human and yokai blood in a Shiftling’s veins. Kiryoki retain their knowledge of combat even after their demonic transformation, and are able to skillfully manipulate their weapon’s form with ease. It is said some are even still capable of using Onmyo Magic. Like other yokai, a Kiryoki’s power resides in its horns, so breaking them will greatly weaken its Ki and give you the advantage in battle.
